The Tim Easterby yard has been among the winners lately and their DEEPSAND looks the one to be on in the second division of the conditionals' race. Lucy Alexander gets the leg up on the four-year-old, who got off the mark at Ayr in February and is heading in the right direction. Neither Halogen nor Asteroid Belt has raced since the autumn but may have been waiting for the better ground. The pair might just need this while Great Roar makes his debut over timber having come up short in bumpers. He's another that's been absent for a while. Nelson's Bay is also making his hurdling debut but did show some form on the Flat last year and might have a future.
