Verdict
A poor contest here with all of the runners appearing to be out of form but something has to win and the principals look to be Speed Venture, Glad Big and Hemington and the narrow vote is given to Glad Big. The selection hails from a yard in form is unexposed over hurdles and with this better ground also in his favour he looks a value bet in a poor affair. Speeed Venture rates the main danger as he is well weighted on his best form but he has shown little of late so he can not be put forward with much confidence. Hemington has ran with promise in the past but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually archived. Of the remainder Arctic Cove was a fair fourth behind Theater Belle last time out and is another with place claims but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Glad Big.
