In depth

Verdict

DHOWIN (NAP) won with plenty left in the tank over today’s trip at Hereford last time having put an early mistake behind him. There looks plenty more to come and he’s taken to defy a penalty. Penny Mallow won a mares’ only contest at Plumpton on her hurdling debut and should give another good account on only her second outing since April. She‘s preferred to Our Promise, who got no further than the first at Newcastle last time having placed at the same track before that. Prince Llywelyn faced a tougher task at Ascot in November but the bumper winner has undergone wind surgery since and better is expected with Itsnotyouitsme perhaps best of the remainder.
