In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Pontop, Reasontobecheerful and Kayf Commander and the narrow vote is given to Pontop. The selection was a fair fourth behind Diablo last time out is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Reasontobecheerful was a never nearer seventh behind Cloudy Times in what looked a better race so he should be watched in the market. Kayf Commander is another that shaped with promise on his debut but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Springfield Raki hails from a predominantly flat yard and should be watched in the market but Pontop looks sure to improve and gets our vote.
