    Verdict

Mysterium looks an interesting contender having put in some good work at the finish of his most recent outing at Redcar last week over a trip that would almost certainly have been a bare minimum for him. Now stepped back up to two miles he is likely to return to winning ways. Mark Johnston's Decoy is a fair sort and is likely to give Mysterium most to do although he is by no means certain to see out the trip. Alcayde should appreciate the fast ground having floundered on the soft in his most recent starts and could be seen in a different light.
