Verdict
Not a race to get too heavily involved in and ANNIA GALERIA may be able to take advantage of a decent draw against the far rail and win it, while Boy The Bell, Pherousa and Kings Of Leo all have claims. The last-named enjoyed her sole career success at this track when taking a maiden 13 months ago. She shows her best when conditions are fast and she has now slipped to an attractive mark of 65, so she should be right there in the thick of it. Pherousa has gone up 2lbs for a decent Sandown run last time when second in a similar handicap. She acts on fast ground and should get very competitive. Boy The Bell was comfortably accounted for last time over 6f at Ayr and Martin Mullineaux drops him back to the minimum trip for the first time. It is not certain to suit. Tom Folan has conditions and trip to his liking and from this mark he has as much chance as many of these, though preference is for Annia Galeria. Chris Dwyer's filly has not managed to add to a Leicester seller win on her debut last July, but she remains consistent in defeat and goes well at this track. With David Probert back in the saddle if she can get a good break then today may be the day she wins again.
