Verdict
Despite being slowly away, KAWSSAJ posted a fair first effort when runner-up to Voodoo Prince at Haydock. Roger Varian's colt was well backed that day and those losses should be recouped here. Sea Soldier is probably the main danger judged on his second to Emilio Largo at Salisbury as Andrew Balding's gelding only gave best close home and is entitled to strip fitter for that comeback run. Logans Legend was third at Leicester last month but Alshazah, fourth at the same track on his reappearance, arguably has the better form and should be pressing for a place.
