        Verdict

        LAURIUM won a similar event at Towcester in March with plenty to spare. He can defy a penalty over this longer trip. Faithful Mount is also penalised for winning a maiden hurdle at Plumpton last month when beating a subsequent winner and he should be in the mix. Montdragon was placed over hurdles in France and aimed high on his debut for Jonjo O'Neill when well beaten in a Grade 2 race at Aintree. He looks best of the rest ahead of the hurdling newcomers Apple Of Our Eye and Lineman.
