JOLLY ROGER took advantage of some leniency from the handicapper to win a conditionals' race with a bit in hand over C&D six days ago. Unpenalised, he should double up in this with Lee Edwards good value for his 3lb claim. It will be interesting to see if there is any money for Spate River after a lay-off while Smalib Monterg could improve for the fitting of blinkers, though is only a plater. Swiss Art needs to bounce back from a poor run at Bangor while Bring Sweets is struggling for form but it would be no surprise to see prominent showings from Hit The Switch and recent C&D second Flash Harriet.
