In depth

Verdict

Hurlers Cross, Potts of Magic and Croc an Oir are the three to look at here with Hurlers Cross getting the vote. Croc an Oir will like the fast ground and is very consistent. That said he was pulled up last time when always behind. Forgiving that effort, Croc an Oir has plenty in his favour here and can go well at a nice price. Potts of Magic has been the epitome of consistency but has found it hard to win since scoring at Ascot 18 months ago. He prefers more cut in the ground than he has here and is opposed. Hurlers Cross has been dropped three pounds since finishing a close third two outings ago. He has won three times on a fast surface in the last year and has been highly tried recently. He may well be overlooked by many, but Hurlers Cross has been found a winning opportunity and can win at a nice price.
