VALGOR DU RONCERAY appeared badly out of form until running an excellent race at Hexham last time when runner-up to Frightened Rabbit with the rest comfortably accounted for. He'll prove a main contender if repeating the level of that performance with Billy Garrity able to retain the ride in this conditional jockeys' handicap. Jonjo O'Neill Jr is a noteworthy booking for David Pipe's Ourmullion, whilst Never A Word is interesting off this mark having undergone wind surgery. Infiniti has run respectable races here the last twice and should do so again off this lowly perch, with Hey Bob and Bridey's Lettuce also worth a second look in an open race.
