Al Roc weakened quickly and only beat one home when on a hat-trick here 11 days ago and hasn’t had much time to recover. It’s three years since Red Royalist last won a race of any description but Yccs Portocervo landed this 12 months ago when 2lb higher in the weights, though hasn’t been in the same form since returning from his winter break. Caddyhill slips further down the weights but FLAMBOYANT JOYAUX came right back to form at Kelso last month and has been left on the same mark.
