River Purple won over a slightly shorter trip here in December and won at Wetherby last month. But he's 5lb higher than when beaten at the west Yorkshire track subsequently and we're inclined to give another chance to STORMHOEK. He's been pulled up the last twice but is eased in grade and distance here and is 8lb lower than his last winning mark. Fitandproperjob has struggled since winning at Leicester in January but Solway Dornal races off the same mark as when second at Market Rasen in March and Grant Cockburn has won on him in the past.
