Alpancho's second to Nataani at Worcester puts him bang in contention for this getting 7lb from August's easy Hereford winner Ace Fighter Pilot and Up To Something, though the latter was impressive in making a winning debut over hurdles here last month and won all three starts in bumpers last season. EXPLAINED is held in high regard by Tim Vaughan and his Ffos Las bumper win in April was franked when runner-up Vinnie My Boy won his next two starts. He can make a winning start to his hurdles career, though Corrin Wood and Dalavar may also be worth following this winter.
