Verdict
AXIOMATIC started out in points and didn't have the pace for bumpers. He improved with each run over hurdles and chasing should be his game so gets the nod to make a successful debut. Bois De Clamart also made good progress over timber ending with a length defeat by Willie Mullins' Golden Spread at Navan with another from the winner's yard well beaten in third. Liz Doyle's charge looks an obvious danger while Scully's Dream made a bold bid to make all in a Downpatrick handicap and was only reeled in close home over that 2m7f.
