Verdict

Asockastar was only moderate over hurdles but his only reasonable effort in three starts over fences came over this track and trip. Wells China showed promise in his first two starts over fences in July before a poor run at Galway. He ran well when reverting to hurdles at Listowel last month which should have given him the confidence to bounce back. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Royal Chief has shown little in three starts over the bigger obstacles while Tikka Light ran very poorly when tackling fences last winter. POLLYWOLLYDOODLE made a bright start over fences at Wexford in June when chasing home a pair of decent rivals. She's had a nice break and looks to have more potential than these rivals so gets the vote.
