Warrantor was first past the post in a point-to-point at Bennettsbridge in February but lost the race in the stewards' room. His breeding suggests he'll find the ground too lively here but he's one for the future. MONT ROYALE won at Kelso in October and was then seventh under a penalty in a better race at Doncaster. He may be capable of giving the weight away here with Maurice Lineham claiming 5lb. Borguy wasn't disgraced on his debut at Taunton and should be capable of better - he may be the pick of the remainder.
