Panzer, Kobai and Windyx look the three to concentrate on in this competitive opener and the vote is given to Panzer. The selection was a good second behind Zeitgeist last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Kobai rates the main danger as he showed a fair bit of ability in bumpers notably when second behind Senora Snoopy. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he should be closely watched in the market. However the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Windyx is another worthy of respect although he was very disappointing on his debut his yard is beginning to find its form and he could go well at a price. Of the remainder Ridjit is from a yard in form and is another with place claims but he may be seen to better effect once handicapped and with this in mind for the winner we return to Panzer.
