UK raiders have a good record in this so Ron Harris' recent Goodwood winner is respected and he won't mind the ground. Gorane won the race a year ago though had earlier been well beaten behind Hit The Bid, who is returning to action after earning some rich pickings in Dubai in the spring and may just need this. Dali was beaten a head by Blue Uluru at the Curragh in June and is worse off at the weights but stable companion DIFFERENT LEAGUE is due a revival. She's undoubtedly been disappointing since landing last year's Albany Stakes but went well behind Judicial at Sandown last time and an inside berth is usually a bonus here. The Broghie Man is also capable of a big run on ground that will be in his favour.
