Plenty of runners but few with realistic chances. PASS THE BALL completed a double between the flags in early summer and was well supported over timber here earlier this month. His supporters never had a concern and he ran out an easy winner so with fences likely to suit even more he should win again. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Sam King is steadily making his way over the bigger obstacles and should get into the action but four-times Flat winner Hurricane Sky couldn't win in 17 starts over hurdles and was well beaten on his chasing debut. Rolling Revenge could provide the main threat as the dual hurdles winner made a promising start over fences at Naas in November and was returning from a very long break when running well for a long way over hurdles at Limerick a couple of weeks ago.
