Verdict
Sovereign Secure is the only genuine sprinter among the main contenders and is likely to set a blistering pace. She's been going well over the minimum trip and is likely to take some catching but Aidan O'Brien looks to have finally found an opportunity for EAGLE CANYON. An official rating of 78 looks just about right for the Montjeu colt, who has only raced once at this trip but who has been showing good speed over further before finding little. Olfa is another dropping down in trip but though she ran well enough over 6f at the Curragh last time that was on soft ground and it remains to be seen whether she has the pace for this. Johnny Murtagh's presence on the speedily-bred Judies Child suggests she is expected to go well on her debut.
