Verdict
Dancinginthestreet and Our Monogram both look to be ahead of the handicapper, and the latter is just preferred, although Tandava and Suzuka also have reasonable claims. The latter has been slightly disappointing since winning over twelve furlongs here last month, but shapes like a stayer and is only three pounds higher here, so cannot be entirely ruled out. Sahnour has been below par lately but has claims on his earlier form so could play a part if the application of a visor here does the trick. Tandava is a consistent sort who should not be too far away here, but at the same time does not look obviously well handicapped. Dancinginthestreet put up his best effort of the season when going down by just a neck at Beverley last time, and races off the same mark here so must have a decent chance, but we just prefer Our Monogram. This likeable gelding won twice earlier in the season and fared well in a similar race at Sandown last week, going down by a neck to Misternando. He too races off the same mark today, and the form has a slightly more solid look to it so we just give Our Monogram the nod.
