Charlie Tipple bids to give Tim Easterby a hat-trick in this race but he's 10lbs higher than when landing his sole handicap and we prefer the claims of Shanafaharan. In contrast to Charlie Tipple, he looks well berthed in box one and he's also completely unexposed with just four career starts to his name. He should have come on for the latest of them which was his first outing of the year and he didn't really fare too badly in finishing in midfield. He is interestingly handicapped on the pick of last year's maiden form and looks capable of landing a maiden success in a race of this nature. Flight Plan showed a little more last time in a claimer but is drawn wide and not the most reliable unlike Violent Velocity who looks sure to be in the mix yet again; his poor strike rate is offputting although Jamie Moriarty is good value for his claim. Heureux is extremely well handicapped on the pick of his form and ran his best race for some considerable time on his reappearance; he could be a major player if building on that but his profile casts doubts upon his ability to do so. Red Romeo is considered but hasn't won on turf for a while, Soto could go well but has rarely tried this trip in over forty starts whilst Yamal is unexposed but very disappointing on his turf bow here last time. An open race but we expect Shanafaharan to be right there at the business end.
