Verdict

Richard Fahey had a terrific strike rate with his juveniles at this track last season so it would be folly to rule out Dance Off, even after a modest effort over C&D. David Simcock had a couple entered at the six-day stage and he relies upon STAND OF GLORY to secure the prize. The colt realised 160,000gns at the sales and, though unable to get off the mark at the first time of asking at Ffos Las, the son of Oasis Dream showed enough to suggest that he is capable of winning a maiden. Unassailable still exhibited signs of inexperience during what appeared to be a fair maiden at Haydock. The winner was turned over at odds-on last Friday, though the second has gone to score with some authority at Lingfield so that form may be decent. Fidget is a full sister to Group 3 winning sprinter Moorhouse Lad so David Brown's filly is also worthy of more than just a cursory market check.
