It was fast ground when Ghathanfar finished runner-up in last year’s renewal while Shallow Hal hasn’t won on Turf since 2018. Only 2lb higher than his most recent success, the latter has switched to Michael Dods’ yard subsequently and gets a speculative vote. Fox Hill and Singe Anglais are others worth a second glance.
