The going may have turned against Squelch, who was only third off his new mark at Salisbury when on a four-timer. The Navigator’s run at Catterick last time was too bad to be true but Zeeband is more interesting as he beat Akamanto and Euro Implosion on his handicap debut and first try over this trip at Ripon. Even less exposed is fellow three-year-old ISPAHAN and, as he is been doing his best work at the finish over 1m4f, this more searching test should suit. Multellie seems to have been around forever and was second off this mark at Hamilton two runs ago, though again has little room for error.
