Verdict
This should lie between Half An Hour, Bacardi Boy and Strong Flow. The former, trained by Alan King, put up an improved display when stepped up to two and three quarter miles last time, and may be capable of better still over this trip, and this Haydock bumper winner could well record his first win over hurdles. However, Strong Flow is sure to be a big threat. Paul Nicholls' gelding was a point-to-point winner in Ireland and showed plenty of promise on his hurdling debut when chasing home the useful Well Then Now Then at Southwell. He wouldn't have to improve a great deal to play a big part here. Bacardi Boy also shaped really well when winning over this trip on his reappearance at Chepstow and will certainly be no pushover here.
