In depth

Verdict

POTTLERATH seeks a fourth win of the calendar year and seems sure to run his race again with neither the trip nor the going a concern. The Height Of Fame is chasing a five-timer but has never raced over a trip this far before and has gone up a further 6lb. Samatian’s stamina will also have to be taken on trust and he’s been a beaten favourite three times since winning at Stratford in October but Kempton runner-up Island Run is respected. Turnaway doesn’t have many miles on the clock but may be too high in the weights at present.
