Sofia's Rock, four times a winner on the Flat for Mark Johnston, was well supported for her hurdling debut at Stratford in September and made no mistake though the runner-up hasn't enhanced the form. Envole Toi followed a shock victory here in December with a moderate effort at Wincanton when beaten 22l but MONTESTREL wasn't disgraced when elevated to Grade 2 company at Cheltenham after his debut success at Chepstow and can get back on the winning trail. Penny Poet couldn't handle the smart Posh Trish at Kempton on Boxing Day but had the remainder well beaten while Scaramanga will have come on for his odds-on defeat at Ludlow last month and his stable can do little wrong. Airton won four times on the Flat and is one to note on his debut over timber.
