I Predict A Riot can score in this novices' hurdle; the list of dangers is headed by Arabellas Homer and Quinte du Chatelet. The selection is eased in grade here after falling when still travelling well in a race won by Franchoek last time. He had previously run well on his hurdling debut when second behind Group Captain and he looks the obvious choice. Arabellas Homer was third behind Whiteoak last time, form that has since been given a massive boost at the Cheltenham Festival, so on the back of that she has to enter calculations here. Quinte du Chatelet has shown some promise in France so he is another who can go well on his British debut. However, I Predict A Riot sets a decent standard here and he should prove tough to beat.

Sangfroid 15-2 (8-7) Soon chasing leaders on outside, ridden 5f out, weakened rapidly 3f out, soon eased when no chance, last of 13, well behind Ommadawn (9-0) at Kempton 1m 4f 3yo hcp (6) pol in Oct (Flat).
Arabellas Homer 66-1 (10-0) Led, headed 2 out, stayed on strongly under pressure, 3rd of 10, 5l behind Whiteoak (11-8) at Ascot 2m mrs nov hdl (3) gd in Feb.
