Verdict

Gyllen was a very easy winner over a shorter trip here two weeks ago but has been raised 13lb. Karakoram is 2lb lower than when successful over course and distance in March but she’s not been at her best so far this season and was well behind the in-form Top Cloud at Stratford in October. SAMATIAN is only 1-16 but was rallying when tried over this trip at Ludlow and Kim Bailey’s charge is probably on a fair mark at present. Mactavish and Wot You Wearing are both on a roll but the pair are closely matched on a run together at Uttoxeter in September.
