Verdict
Straight Talker, Red Dahlia and Penny's Crown are three against there field in this desperate affair and the tentative vote goes to Straight Talker. The selection was a fair second behind Tudor King last time. That form has since been franked and with this shorter trip likely to suit he is taken to score under conditions that suit. Red Dahlia rates the main danger on his best form but he has failed to complete the course on his last two runs so he can not be backed with any confidence. Penny¿s Crown is another that could go well she was a fair second behind Beauly last time and a reproduction of that effort would see her go close but consistency is not her strong point. Of the remainder Pink Harbour won well last time when defeating Cody but he will find it harder under his penalty in what looks a more competitive affair so he looks opposable. This is another trappy affair and again stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Straight Talker.
