        Verdict

        This is a very poor race, and Charlie Swan's Irish raider, Danimas, looks to face a fairly simple task. He was a convincing winner of a much better race at Musselburgh in February, and was sixth over fences at Fairyhouse last time. The slight concern about backing him at short odds would be his ability to handle this heavy ground, but the form book would give him plenty in hand of these rivals. Devote would probably be the pick of the remainder, and showed he handles heavy ground when third to Lord Brex in a course and distance seller the time before last.
