Verdict

Carrigmoorna Matt lost his form in Ireland and on his first two starts for the in-form Neil Mullholland but did better when dropped back to 2m3f at Chepstow. ROSEMARY RUSSET looked a certain future winner when beaten a neck over the course and distance but didn't appreciate front-running at Hereford next time. She can take this if ridden with more restraint though Demon Fou looks a big threat. Jeremy Scott's charge won a 2m3f maiden on fast going here in November before narrowly beaten over an extra furlong at Fakenham. If he stays this far he'll be there at the finish but Le Musee, a winner over 2m3f here in March, was beaten a long way though that was in a better race than this.
