Verdict

Horsford was handed an easy victory in a novice event at Worcester 10 days ago and has more on his plate here. Troy Tempest was put up 11lb for winning over 3m3f at Fontwell but is unexposed and should go well again, while veteran Deep Pockets will strip fitter for a sharpener over hurdles at Towcester and also stays well. Shammy Buskins and Newton Abbot winner Estates Recovery are others to consider but THE FERBANE MAN appreciated the step up to a similar trip at Wincanton last month when getting the better of Upham Atom and Knighton Combe in a driving finish. Richard Johnson has a good record on board Tim Vaughan's gelding, who can follow up here.
