Verdict
From a family of French jumps winners, Silver Steel is a useful chaser but was a long way behind the winner when last seen and will need to improve somewhat in this tougher grade. KING OZZY will benefit the most if there is significant rainfall to soften the ground but he has won on these conditions and can take the race. Norborne Bandit and Turbo Shandy were second and third at Newton Abbot when they last raced together and those positions are likely to be confirmed here, whilst Mibleu will be hoping for the ground to dry up a touch as his best performances have been on quicker ground. No one would begrudge him a victory as he will be one of the last to race for Robert and Sally Alner.
