In depth

Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer The Bull McCabe showed that stamina was his strongpoint when staying on strongly over slightly shorter at Newton Abbot. On Call showed some potential over hurdles for Joseph O'Brien in Ireland and won a point-to-point there in January while BARBADOS BUCK'S, runner-up in an Irish point in April last year before being sold for €210,000, showed ability in bumpers and with his stable in unstoppable form looks the one to beat. Cape Robin scored between the flags at Quakerstown the same month but hasn't been seen subsequently.
