A couple of French imports are worth a market check in this. Stamina Chope was second twice over hurdles at Clairefontaine last year but gives the impression a longer trip would suit. Gaot started favourite for a maiden at Wetherby in November but only managed sixth, though should be capable of better. Joie De Vivre won over 1m4f on the Flat but may need this and LADY RESET is preferred. A winner twice on the Flat at Chepstow for David Evans, she was having a first run for new connections when hampered at Windsor two weeks ago and that will have blown away a few cobwebs.
