Verdict
This looks a match between Berings Express and Sergheyev with the narrow vote going to Berings Express. The selection was a fair second behind Kempley Green last time out and would have won but for being badly hampered two out. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and with improvement likely he looks the one to be on. Sergheyev rates the main danger on his latest second behind Mexican Bob. That form looks solid and he will not be far away. However that was on a soft surface and this faster ground has to be a concern. Oscar Bay has run with promise in points but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Perdiem has shown little and is readily opposed and for the winner we return to Berings Express
