Ocean Blaze is certainly the form animal going into this really decent race as Rod Millman's charge chases a hat-trick but given his best has come on good ground or faster we suggest that course specialist REBEL DUKE might be a safer option although Hypnosis and The Nifty Fox also offer temptation. The Ollie Pear's trained selection has won three from eight starts over course and distance most latterly in January when eight pounds better off. That said he did go very close when just two pounds lighter in a better race two starts ago and his run at Epsom last time shows he is still in good heart. Ocean Blaze held on well to land her two-timer last time and while the mare could still be well handicapped despite another four pound rise in her mark we still hold concerns the surface will be suitable. Hynonsis won her only start here and is still weighted in the competitive category while The Nifty Fox is yet to run here but goes well on soft ground and is running well. A really decent race for the course and tough to call but Rebel Duke can make his course and distance form count.
