        Verdict

        Cool Sands, Fools Gold and BALLYCROY BOY make up our shortlist for this competitive contest, and from the trio we'll be siding with the last named. He's not been out of the first three in his last seven races, the last of which was back in April. He likes the circuit, and is expected to be well supported. Fools Gold, the joint top weight with Ballycroy Boy, is another who always goes well here, even though his overall record doesn't look that great. Cool Sands won at Kempton last time out, but it wasn't a great performance in a moderate contest, although he should be too good for some of these. Most of these have winning form over course and or distance and on his favourite track, we'll go with Ballycroy Boy.
