Those who have run before don't make a great deal of appeal and so Michael Bell's newcomer Serhaaphim gets the vote ahead of Wassendale and Rumpus. The selection has been found a weak race in which to make her debut and starting off at what looks the right trip on breeding, Jamie Spencer can land another winner as he bids to regain the crown of top jock. The market should be watched for positive vibes, a point that applies to Tom Tate's newcomer Rumpus. He has a very profitable record with his three-year-old's at the track and he may be up to improving that even further. Ranavalona is winless in 11 starts and that run should continue as he finds at least one too good, so of more interest may be Wassendale who runs in another maiden despite being qualified for handicaps. The market will help guide, but Serhaaphim gets the vote.
