Verdict
There's little form here to go on, with Lonsdale Lad having run almost as many times as the others put together, but we'll tentatively suggest JOANNADARC as the potential winner, with challenges likely from Badge of Honour and King's Chorister. Simon Callaghan's yard is in fine form, and his filly has run encouragingly on her first two outings. She's entitled to improve further. Don't expect anything like the double figure price she's been on those. Mark Johnston's well capable of turning out a winner on debut, and sends out Badge of Honour. He's also entered for a Wolverhampton maiden on Boxing Day. King's Chorister may find this surface more to his liking after failing to land a blow at Wolverhampton or on a fast surface at Warwick. He's well drawn in stall one. As ever in a maiden the market should be closely watched, but our vote goes to Joannadarc.
