In depth

Verdict

ZEALOT has really found his form for Mick Appleby, following a nose defeat on his debut for the yard on this track with an easy all-the-way victory at Kempton. He has a penalty to overcome in this slightly better race but can go in again. Ron O followed a victory in a Class 6 at Newcastle by completing a double in this grade here a fortnight ago so should make a bold bid to defy a 4lb rise. Legal Reform has invariably run in better company than this though hasn't been seen since last November. Bushfire has shown improved form in each of his three starts since joining Gemma Tutty and is on the same mark as when beaten a neck here two weeks ago while Chief's Will almost doubled his winning tally when caught close home at Lingfield.
