STAR ASCENDING has obvious claims having returned a clear winner over track and trip last time when beating several of these in the process. He can go in again with an apprentice’s allowance negating a 5lb rise. Dream Serenade was a well beaten third behind the selection with Just Fred, Never Say and Port Lairge all further behind while Quadriga has won three times here but over shorter trips than this. The unexposed Jennies Gem also steps up in trip but handles the surface and may prove best of the rest.
