ROZNIC is our idea of the most likely winner though Spear Thistle and Ice Melted should give him plenty to think about. Trainer, Tim Vaughan has made a habit of reinvigorating over's castoffs and off a mark that is some way short of his chase rating, Roznic makes plenty of appeal. His second to Norisan at Wincanton looks solid relative to this level. Spear Thistle returns after an abortive chasing campaign. Once useful on the level when trained by John Gosden, he cannot be discounted readily. Ice Melted has had a few names called about him in the past. Tony McCoy is sure to be earning every penny of his riding fee. Cloudless Dawn is capable though has lost her way. Itzacliche is better known in hunter chases and made little impression at Perth in a handicap hurdle. Patsy Bee has placed regularly in plating hurdles. Viscount Rossini was previously seen out over hurdles when trained by Tony Carroll and now tries to repeat the dose with Steve Gollings. Circassian is a light of his former self. Alkar is noteworthy given the name of Tony Martin in the trainer's column. Moderate stuff in which Roznic can prevail.
