Verdict
Reg Hollinshead got a tune out of Weet By Far at Wolverhampton last time and it is likely that filly can follow up here, with Low Flyer and Magical Song others likely to show up well. Weet By Far was successful over this trip at Dunstall Park and has raced almost exclusively at that track. However, one previous try here at Southwell resulted in the runner up spot on ground that was plenty slow enough. With that in her favour here plus that recent success to bolster confidence she can go in again. Low Flyer has been thrashed on two out of three previous racecourse outings, but pedigree suggests that Southwell's surface may well suit and we could see an improvement from David Barron's charge here. Magical Song won here over a mile last month but was well beaten next time. He was beaten 5l receiving 8lb from the selection at Wolverhampton and now 5lb better off than that he should be able to get closer. Toubouggornottoubougg looks best of the rest, but Weet By Far looks the one to be on.
