        Verdict

        A poor race which gives Larky's Lob a chance to regain the winning thread. The winner of a couple of sellers this time last year, he has struggled a bit in the meantime, albeit in the face of stiffer tests. He looked to be on the way back last time when beaten just over two lengths by Sharp Gossip and he can make the most of the drop in class here. Mount Royale is a regular at this level, but with a win record of one win from 28 attempts, he is normally one to oppose. The biggest threat may come from Primo Dawn, but he may just need another outing to put him right after a lay off. If By Chance and Mystic Venture are others to consider in what looks a competitive heat for a seller.
