In the trickiest puzzle to solve the course form of GRACIES GIFT just about swings this handicap in favour of the gelding while King's Sabre is consistent and Cross Of Lorraine put in an improved effort last time. With a good strike rate at this track the pick added to that with a sprint victory two starts ago. He ran a solid race in defeat off this mark last time and with this looking slightly easier he must have every chance. King's Sabre has run well in two turf contests with limited returns the last twice and while he should be in the mix again he is yet to score in 28 starts. Cross Of Lorraine showed improved form to find just the one too good last time out and with an aptitude for the surface he should be a live one. Fulford has won here in the past and returns to this sphere off a workable rating but in a truly open affair Gracies Gift is our best suggestion.
