behind, ridden over 2f out, never on terms
held up, ridden over 2f out, headway over 1f out, went 2nd inside final furlong, just held near finish
chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, every chance 1f out, kept on inside final furlong
close up, every chance over 1f out, no extra towards finish
slowly away, always behind and outpaced
behind and pushed along weakened 2f out
Although he has to prove himself on this surface BOBSKI has the right sort of credentials to take this seller, while Lethal is among the dangers. Gay Kelleway has hired the services of Jamie Spencer for the ride on Bobski, who has done most of his winning at this trip and mostly from higher marks in handicap company. This is his first start in this sphere after a few months break from the track, but he has plenty in hand at the weights and he can score. Lethal was a fast ground Catterick scorer last summer and performed well on his return a four month absence over course and distance last week. He should come on for that and will make his presence felt. Hamaasy represents the in-form Ron Harris yard and he goes very well over course and distance, but just keeps finding one too good. He has a fair bit to find with the other pair but might make the frame again. Blue Charm acts on most artificial surfaces but he would probably appreciate further and we will stick with Bobski here.
